Mandalay Bay Selects Dynamic Minds to Manage Critical Software Application

LAS VEGAS – Dynamic Minds Consulting, a leading professional services firm in the hospitality industry, disclosed particulars about their recent engagement at Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. After a successful Point-of-Sale (POS) application audit, additional Dynamic Minds’ services were attained to manage Mandalay Bay’s Agilysys InfoGenesis POS enterprise migration.
Mandalay Bay and THEhotel on the famed Las Vegas Strip is home to world-renowned restaurants Aurole, Mix, Fleur De Lys, RM Seafood and Stripsteak. In addition to the amazing dining selection, Mandalay Bay is also home for thrilling entertainment performances. The Arena at Mandalay Bay and the Mandalay Beach host many of today’s leading live performing entertainers, MMA fights and Boxing on a weekly basis. Live entertainment venues include House of Blues, Mizuya Lounge and Eye Candy Sound Lounge & Bar along with six other casino bars which are sure to satisfy everyone’s requirements.
An initial complete system audit of (POS) configuration databases was completed and followed up with operational audits at every location utilizing the InfoGenesis (POS) by Agilysys. Each of the 62 hospitality venues was observed during live operations by seasoned consultants who provided an executive summary and recommendations for each venue after the 45-day property audit.
After an executive approval of recommendations, Dynamic Minds shifted into project managing the enterprise migration of the Mandalay Bay (POS) application. The successful upgrade led to Mandalay Bay exploring an external candidate with in-depth product, operational knowledge and experience in gaming.

Dynamic Minds implemented a seamless configuration request process and managed the subsequent execution of all database configuration changes. Any future change requests for the (POS) application are meticulously collected and archived for future audits. Additional services provided to Mandalay Bay are complete project management and implementation support for any new openings.
